product description

UltraTile ProLevel Fibre Plus is a high-strength, fibre-reinforced floor levelling compound. It creates a strong, smooth and durable surface ready for tiling or further floor preparation.

The single-part formula uses FibreBond technology for added strength and flexibility. Simply mix the 20kg powder with the recommended amount of water before application.

ProLevel Fibre Plus works at depths from 3mm to 75mm and is suitable for both internal and external use. As a result, it is suitable for general floor levelling as well as deeper floor preparation.

For underfloor heating projects, it can provide a strong, level base over suitable solid subfloors before installing the heating system.

High-Strength Floor Leveller for Solid Subfloors

ProLevel Fibre Plus has a CT-C35-F8 AR0.5 classification, providing high compressive and flexural strength.

As a result, it is well suited to areas that require a durable floor base. This includes areas subject to heavy foot traffic and heavy wheeled traffic.

For underfloor heating installations, ProLevel Fibre Plus can level and strengthen a suitable solid subfloor before installing a retrofit UFH system.

However, its high strength means it may not suit direct application over every type of retrofit underfloor heating panel. Always consider the complete floor build-up and follow the panel manufacturer’s guidance.

Suitable for Underfloor Heating

ProLevel Fibre Plus offers excellent flexibility for use as part of an underfloor heating floor construction.

In addition, its fibre-reinforced formula creates a strong and stable base for suitable heated floor applications.

Typical applications include:

  • Levelling solid subfloors before installing underfloor heating
  • Creating a strong base beneath retrofit UFH systems
  • Levelling uneven concrete and screeded floors
  • Preparing suitable timber floors
  • Deeper floor levelling applications
  • High-traffic areas that require additional strength
  • Internal and external floor preparation

Rapid Drying & Fast Setting

Despite its high strength, ProLevel Fibre Plus provides a fast turnaround.

At 20°C, the mixed product has a working time of approximately 20–30 minutes. Light foot traffic is possible after approximately 3 hours at a 3mm depth.

In suitable conditions, tiling can typically begin after approximately 4 hours. Therefore, installers can move on to the next stage of the project without a lengthy delay.

Application Depths from 3mm to 75mm

ProLevel Fibre Plus works at depths between 3mm and 75mm. Therefore, you can use it for both minor floor correction and deeper levelling work.

Beacuse of this, the wide application range is particularly useful when an existing solid subfloor requires significant correction before installing an underfloor heating system.

Using ProLevel Fibre Plus with Retrofit Underfloor Heating

The condition and level of the existing subfloor can affect the quality of a retrofit underfloor heating installation.

ProLevel Fibre Plus can prepare and level suitable concrete or screeded subfloors before installing retrofit UFH panels. Its high strength creates a sound, even base for the next stage of the installation.

However, don’t automatically use ProLevel Fibre Plus directly over every type of retrofit UFH panel. Check the panel manufacturer’s requirements before choosing a levelling compound.

In addition, consider the final floor covering and complete floor construction before selecting your products.
