John Houghton – Technical Director
Hydaheat was founded by John Houghton after spending over a decade working within the underfloor heating industry.
John began his career in 2014 as an underfloor heating installer. This gave him a practical understanding of how systems perform in real-world applications.
Over the years, he progressed into CAD design, technical specification and project support. Before establishing Hydaheat, John worked with two major underfloor heating brands and gained extensive industry experience.
John has worked on thousands of projects, from domestic renovations to large-scale developments. During this time, he recognised the need for a company that combined technical expertise with outstanding customer support.
Hydaheat was created to meet that need. Our aim is to provide professional guidance, quality products and reliable support throughout every stage of a project.

Throughout his career, John has personally designed and supplied more than 4,000 underfloor heating systems, providing valuable insight into the practical challenges and technical requirements of successful installations.

With over 30 years of experience in business management, finance, administration and customer service, Samantha Rawcliffe plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of Hydaheat.
Throughout her career, Samantha has developed extensive experience across a variety of industries. She has held senior positions in administration, office management and financial management.
Her expertise covers business operations, accounts, customer relations, HR, compliance and process management. She has also implemented business systems, managed financial operations and helped businesses improve efficiency.
As Managing Director of Hydaheat, Samantha is responsible for ensuring customers receive a high level of service throughout their experience with us. This starts with the initial enquiry and continues through ordering, delivery and after-sales support.
She oversees customer care, business operations, finance, supplier relationships and company administration. Her attention to detail helps ensure orders are handled efficiently and customers receive a smooth, professional service.
Samantha is passionate about building long-term relationships with homeowners and trade professionals. Her customer-first approach is central to the way Hydaheat operates.
